About Claire Paolone
Claire recently received her master’s degree at DePaul University in Viola Performance. She was involved in DePaul’s Concerto Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and 20+esemble. She received her Bachelors in Viola Performance from Northern Illinois University in 2019 cum laude. Claire is an avid Chamber music player and has attended summer festivals such as Credo Music Festival and Wintergreen Performing Arts Festival as well at both DePaul and NIU. At NIU Claire was involved in the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra, both where she resided as Principal for 2+ years. While a part of NIU’s philharmonic, she soloed Cecil Forsyth’s Viola Concerto in 2018 as winner of NIU’s concerto competition. Claire teaches Violin, Viola and Piano. She received her “Every Child Can” and Book One Suzuki violin training at NIU. She also grew up in the Suzuki CSA at Wheaton College where. Claire has previously taught with the NIU CSA.
