About Alex
Alex Cassara has been playing the violin since the age of nine and holds an associate degree in music. With extensive studies in violin, viola, piano, and classical voice, Alex primarily performs as a singer with the Chicago Master Singers. However, Alex has more experience teaching violin and viola, having taught these instruments for nearly two years. Alex enjoys working with students of all ages, from as young as 4 to as old as 63, believing it’s never too late to learn music. Passionate about both teaching and learning, Alex values the unique perspectives students bring to lessons. Alex’s teaching philosophy emphasizes realistic expectations and a patient approach, guiding students through the challenges of music while maintaining high standards.
