About Vahe Sarkissian
Vahe Sarkissian holds a master’s degree in music education and a bachelor’s in jazz performance from the University of the Arts and has been teaching for over 25 years. He has performed in front of Stevie Wonder and has performed/worked with Earl Slick, Gina Schock, Derek Sherinian, Gerald Veasley, and Keiko Matsui, in addition to opening up for artists such as Slash, Matteo Mancuso, Victor Wooten, Shinedown, The Roots, Greg Koch, Richie Kotzen, and Greg Howe. He specializes in various styles of music, including jazz, rock, pop, R&B, and world music. Check out his albums “Curcuna” (Middle Eastern fusion) and “This is Christmas” (Holiday).
