About Tim Stathokostas
Tim Stathokostas is a graduate of Rowan University with a bachelor’s degree in music education. While at Rowan University, Tim played the saxophone in various small and large ensembles, such as jazz combos, saxophone quartets, jazz bands, wind ensembles, concert bands, and pep bands. Tim has studied classical and jazz saxophone under many teachers, such as Noa Even, John Guida, Richard Dammers, and Denis DiBlasio. Also, Tim won the student concerto competition during his senior year. Currently, Tim is a general music teacher in the South Jersey area, teaching pre-k to middle school students, and directs the school’s elementary choir. Previously, Tim has taught high school marching band as well. With having taught a wide range of age groups, Tim will tailor lessons specifically to the student and can accommodate as students grow older.
