About Nick Wanagosit
Nick Wanagosit is a graduate of the College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree of Music Performance in percussion. At the College of New Jersey, Nick studied with renowned percussionist, William Trigg. He also had the opportunity to study classical guitar with renowned classical guitarist, Michael Newman.
In addition to studying drum set, Nick enjoyed performing classical and contemporary repertoire across instruments such as snare drum, marimba, vibraphone, and timpani. While at the TCNJ, Nick performed in various ensembles such as the College Orchestra, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble.
Nick has also performed alongside other musicians such as renowned cellist Alberto Parrini, bassoonist Dennis Macmullin, saxophonist Kathleen Mitchell, and jazz trumpeter Michael Ray, along with his band Cosmic Krewe.
Prior to attending the College of New Jersey, Nick studied drum set at the Marlton Music Training Center for 6 years with Joe Aiello. Nick enjoys playing styles such as rock, jazz, funk, Latin, and Metal. He aspires to help grow his students’ passion for music and drumming.
