About Maggie Westendorf
Maggie Westendorf has been singing and playing instruments since the age of 7. Her curiosity and enthusiasm for music led her to explore many instruments before choosing voice as her primary focus. Driven by a passion for sharing music with others, she earned a B.A. in music education and later attained an M.A. in music therapy, expanding her ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals. Her extensive experience working with various genres, age groups, and ability levels provides her with a unique perspective in teaching. Maggie’s teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of enjoyment and curiosity in the learning process, believing that making music should be a fun and engaging experience first and foremost. She is committed to the idea that anyone can learn to sing, regardless of age, as vocal expression is a fundamental aspect of human experience. Her favorite part of being a teacher is the privilege of witnessing students progress toward their full potential as musicians.
