
About Hugo Miranda
Hugo Antonio Miranda is a passionate and compassionate piano instructor, award-winning composer, and pianist. He studied piano for several years at the National Conservatory of Music of Mexico before earning a bachelor’s degree in music composition from Rutgers University and a master’s from Temple University. He has studied with esteemed pianists, including Clipper Erickson and Alfredo Isaac Aguilar.
As a composer, Hugo possesses a deep understanding of music theory and how music evokes emotions, giving him a unique perspective that he brings into his piano teaching. He tailors lessons to each student’s needs, helping them develop strong technique, musical expression, and confidence. His warm and patient approach fosters a positive learning environment where students feel supported and inspired.
Beyond teaching, Hugo’s compositions have earned recognition in international competitions. He is dedicated to helping students discover their love for music while building skills that will last a lifetime.
