About Hugo Miranda
Hugo Antonio Miranda, a Mexican American composer and piano educator, has garnered numerous accolades for his musical compositions. He completed his undergraduate studies in music composition at Rutgers University and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in music composition at Temple University. Throughout his academic career, he has studied composition with several notable composers, including Jan Krzywicki, Robert Aldridge, Melissa Dunphy, Matthew Greenbaum, Erin Busch, and Mark Zaki.
Hugo’s interest in music began at a young age, and he received formal training in piano at the National Conservatory of Music of Mexico for several years before moving to the United States to pursue his music career. Miranda had the privilege of receiving piano instruction from esteemed maestros, such as Alfredo Aguilar and Clipper Erickson.
