Music Explorers fosters children’s social and emotional growth through whimsical songs and playful exploration

Music Explorers is a unique Early Childhood Music program for ages 3 to 5 that focuses on the whole child, laying the foundations not only musically, but mentally, emotionally, and physically. Based on the National Standards for Music Education, Music Explorers provides students with an opportunity to develop beginning music skills all while encouraging a child’s confidence and self-expression.

Trial Classes: Trial classes are no cost and no obligation. However, if you enroll after a trial class, the trial class is charged as a paid class.

Class Options and Schedule:

Tuesdays: September 9 – December 16 (No class 10/28 and 11/25)
- 1:00 – 1:45 PM

Saturdays: September 13 – December 13 (No class 11/29)
- 9:00 – 9:45 AM
- 1:30 – 2:15 PM

Tuition

$300 for one child for the full session (tuition prorated for those who join in a middle of the session)
$180 for each additional sibling for the full session (tuition prorated for those who join in a middle of the session)
Drop-in class: $25/class

Should I attend Music Explorers classes with my child?

We encourage parents to leave while class is in session, but you are welcome to stay if you prefer. We understand that it can be scary at first, but we hope that students become more and more comfortable without a parent present as they progress through Music Explorers.

How many students will there be in my child’s class?

The maximum allotted number of students per class is 10 to ensure attention is paid to every child.

What kind of instruments would my child be playing in this program

We start with unpitched instruments like hand drums and rhythm sticks. Then we add pitched percussion like resonator bells.
