02 We Emphasize Healthy Technique
Regardless of your ultimate goals, our teachers will prioritize strong fundamentals including proper posture, hand positioning, chords, fretting, picking, and strumming. As students progress, these basics will become second nature – and serve as the foundation from which students can apply their skills across a variety of genres and styles.
We want our guitar students to be literate, well-rounded musicians. Beginners and seasoned performers alike will find value in our approach at Marlton Music Academy, coupling technical instruction with elements of music theory and music history in each lesson.

Dan Guida
Guitar & Bass
Dan Guida is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a Minor in Education. His primary instrument of study was classical guitar, and he also played percussion throughout his high school and college years in his schools’ concert and symphonic bands.
John Roth
Guitar & Bass
John Roth comes from a large musical family with relatives playing with the likes of George Benson, Buddy Rich, Art Blakey, and Archie Shepp, just to name a few. Growing up in the church was also an immense musical inspiration.
Don Bozzuffi
Guitar & Bass
Don Bozzuffi attended Camden County College for classical guitar performance along with receiving private lessons in classical guitar at Rowan University.
Tim Schilling
Guitar & Bass
A graduate of the University of the Arts, Tim Schilling has been making a name for himself by performing in a variety of genres and venues throughout the country.
Jaime Edara
Guitar & Bass
Jaime Andres Endara began studying classical guitar at the age of 14 at the Escuela Sinfónica Juvenil de Colombia. At the age of 18, he began studying university studies in music with classical guitar as his main instrument at the Central University of Bogotá (Colombia).

Playing the bass requires physical dexterity, muscular development and coordination as you hold the instrument, pluck strings, and create chord patterns. Contact us to find out if your child is ready for bass!
Of course, older students and adults are also welcome to take lessons and gain the confidence, self-discipline, and other benefits that result from playing the bass.
Do I Need Any Prior Experience?
Students of all skill levels may take bass lessons at Marlton Music Academy. We’re here to support you whether you’ve never picked up a bass before, have played casually for a while or hope to become a professional soon.
