Individualized music instruction

Whether you have a young son who wants to try out music lessons for the first time, are a high school student preparing for a music major in college, or are an adult who just wants to play for fun, we personalize lessons to accomplish your dreams. This ensures that YOU get to choose what your goals are, and meet them in a way that works best for you. We don’t require a set curriculum, so our instructors can tailor the lesson to YOU and your learning style. Relationships are a key factor in learning music. We choose our instructors carefully, selecting those who are both experts in their field AND have warm personalities. They are patient and encouraging, and will support you in your dreams. We believe that a great teacher is also a great mentor and role model. We’ll get to know you personally, so you can have the BEST music lesson experience!

Work on the music YOU enjoy!

We teach a wide range of musical styles, from classical to rock, sacred to modern pop music. Our instructors will customize your lesson so you can learn what you want!

The largest and most qualified teaching faculty in Loveland

We have over 20 instructors, all of whom are experts in their field. Or teachers have college training in music and/or extensive performance/teaching experience. We choose our instructors for their warm personalities, and their passion for music and teaching. Our teachers work well with both children and adults, and are dedicated to helping you to achieve your goals. They are friendly, patient, and strive to get to know each student and their parent on a personal level. Music is our passion, and we love sharing it with you.

No two lessons are the same, because each one is centered around YOU! Our instructors will listen carefully to you and what you want to achieve, and then help you develop a plan to meet your goals. They work well with a wide array of youth and adult students with special abilities and challenges. Adaptive lessons are available for students with special needs. And with multiple teachers for each instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your musical needs!

One of the things that sets us apart is is our focus on providing music lessons that are fresh, new, and engaging. Our teachers bring energy and expertise to you, utilizing apps and new technology to give you the best music experience!

Our students say: “[Our teacher] has passed his passion and love for music onto my daughter… I cannot believe I don’t have to “tell her” to practice. 🙂 She is always energized about what she has learned after a lesson. [Our teacher] is organized and yet flexible with the students….the communication is friendly, yet concise and keeps us on track with schedules, recitals, etc. LAM feels like an extended family and we are so thankful to all of you for being fantastic role models while sharing your love of music with our daughter.” -Christine R., Loveland,

Trophies, certificates, and award wristbands to celebrate achievement

We are the only music school in Loveland OR Northern Colorado that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces (see pictures) by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends. The Musical Ladder is our unique method of music education that you can only get here.

More importantly, when our students have a test coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins. We also specialize in music lessons for adults.

Fully stocked music lesson rooms

Our rooms are fully prepared with everything you need for lessons, including acoustic pianos, keyboards, amps, stereos, drum kits, and more. Our piano lessons are taught on acoustic pianos, and drum lessons use acoustic drum sets. We have spent thousands of dollars on our school to offer soundproofing and large observation windows.

One of our parents says: “My daughter was struggling with reading. I put her in music class playing piano. It improved her self esteem a great deal. We decided to put her in vocal lessons with Loveland Academy of Music and her reading level jumped from a 37 reading level to a 93 reading level. I was so excited to see this change in as little as 4 months. We are so happy with all that Loveland Academy of Music has done for my kids.” Sabrina W., Fort Collins, CO
