About Valerie Vampola
Valerie is a vocalist and pianist based out of Northern Colorado. She’s taught at Loveland Academy of Music since 2019, helping her students become deep music appreciators, find joy in playing, and incorporating her vast performance experiences into her teaching methods. Valerie graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies. She performs all across the Front Range on a weekly basis from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs and up in the mountains with a variety of acts, from solo lounge piano to bands, her primary projects being her own funk and fusion band Val Chillmer, and the all female rock group Girl Crush, lead by Wendy Woo. All of her perspectives as a versatile performer helps her hone in on students’ passions as she helps them make their music goals a reality.
