About Tanner Smith
Tanner has been playing drums for over 12 years and has performed in bands for about half of that time. He has performed in several band competitions and played all around Colorado, even performing in Wyoming during Frontier Days. He spends his free time listening to music or practicing, but outside of music his favorite hobby is baseball with his favorite team being the Toronto Blue Jays. His goals for his students are learning to appreciate music as a whole and developing a relationship with drumming or music in general. In his lessons, he likes blending sight reading and ear training with the student’s personal choice in music, and occasionally implementing formal books or sheet music.
