About Liz Baugh

Liz is a dedicated music teacher who loves helping her students build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music. Having taught at the Academy since 2018 and having served as its previous general manager, Liz is passionate about sharing the many benefits of music, including its positive impact on mental well-being and brain development. She strives to create a supportive, encouraging environment where her students feel empowered to grow both musically and personally.

Since earning her degree in Music & Leadership from Spring Arbor University, Liz has spent over 15 years as an active performer in bands, musicals, and theatrical productions. Her favorite stage credits include A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek the Musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Les Misérables. She regularly performs throughout Northern Colorado with her all-female band Fancy Bits, the acoustic duo Distant Rivers, and as the pianist for the Fort Collins improv troupe, Comedy Brewers.

Outside the studio, Liz enjoys hiking, kayaking, and the other outdoor activities Colorado offers, as well as spending time at home with her husband and their three fur babies.
