About Cory Cordie
With a diverse background in music education and performance, Cory offers private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, bass, drum set, violin, and ukulele. As a former band and choir director, he specializes in pedagogy across piano, voice, percussion, strings, woodwinds, and brass, and has taught at multiple institutions, including the Loveland Academy of Music and several public school districts.
A seasoned ensemble performer, Cory has participated and led a variety of groups, including concert choirs, jazz bands, marching bands, opera and theater productions, and special events such as weddings and talent shows. He also brings years of experience in worship leadership across several churches. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, Cory brings versatility and passion—meeting students where they are in their musical journey.
When he’s not teaching, practicing, or repairing instruments, Cory enjoys spending time with his four-legged companions and performing on trumpet with the ska-punk band It Gets Worse.
