About Brooke Balbuena
Brooke Balbuena holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. While at UTSA, she won numerous awards, including the annual Aria & Concerto competition and the Graduate School’s prestigious “Excellence in Teaching” award for her enthusiastic work with undergraduate group piano students. Her private students have won performance competitions at local and state levels and have earned gold medals in state theory tests. Brooke is originally from Wayland, NY, and now resides in Berthoud, CO with her husband and pets.
