About Angelo Theofanous
Angelo Theofanous grew up in central Florida, where his curiosity for music quickly grew into a lifelong passion. That journey began when his high school alma mater needed help with their percussion section. From there, he branched out to other schools, giving private lessons, working as a clinician for the all-county band, and serving as a piano accompanist throughout the county. He’s played in jazz combos, wind bands, orchestras, and neo-soul collectives in the Orlando area. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from Stetson University in DeLand, FL, and is dedicated to spreading his knowledge with anyone who is willing to give music an honest try. Angelo’s mission is to help students not only learn how to play music, but also to enjoy the process of learning itself—building confidence and skills that carry over into many facets of their lives. Outside of teaching, you’ll catch Angelo jamming out at Blue Arena as a drummer for the Colorado Eagles, enjoying his time practicing and composing, and finding new trails to conquer.
