About Ovidiu
Ovidiu is a passionate and accomplished multi-instrumentalist, conductor, and educator with over 13 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. He holds a Master of Arts in Music Performance from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts from George Enescu University of Arts in Romania. Ovidiu further honed his craft at the prestigious Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Throughout his career, Ovidiu has worked in various educational settings, including as a music teacher at Ambassadors Preparatory Academy in Galveston and as a Secondary Orchestra Director at South-Houston High School. He is currently serving as the Assistant Orchestra Director at Hodges Bend Middle School in Houston and is actively involved with the Bay Area Youth Symphony in Friendswood.
Ovidiu’s extensive performance history includes collaborations with renowned orchestras worldwide, such as the “Moldova” Symphony in Romania, Reutlingen Philharmonic in Germany, and several symphonies across Texas, including the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, Clear Lake Symphony, and Galveston Symphony.
