About Joshua Kirksey
Joshua Kirksey is an accomplished singer-songwriter, musician, and audio engineer with nearly two decades of experience in performance. With an unwavering love for music and a deep appreciation for its impact on the world, Joshua’s journey began with drumming in his father’s church before discovering his true passion for the guitar at the age of 15.
In 2016, Joshua made his mark in the music industry with the release of his debut single, “Until You Bless Me.” Since then, he has performed at a variety of events including conferences, competitions, weddings, and worship services. Notable highlights from his career include winning the highly coveted 99.1 Joy FM “I Sing” competition in St. Louis, MO, wowing crowds at the SXSW festival in Austin, TX, and opening for Grammy Award-winning gospel artist, Israel Houghton.
Not only is Joshua a sought-after guitarist and sound engineer for local churches, he is also the proud founder of OADC and A Different Kind of Music Group, Joshua has a strong passion for teaching and helping others realize their musical potential. He is aware that everyone learns differently and crafts his teaching style to each individuals’ needs.
