
About Cassandra
Cassandra has been performing professionally for over twenty years, is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association, and has performed regionally for theaters like Palm Beach Dramaworks and the Arsht Center in Florida, among others, playing characters like Clara in “The Light in the Piazza”, Tuptim in “The King and I”, Belle in “The Beauty and the Beast”, Eponine in “Les Miserables”‘, Morticia in “The Addams Family”, and Mrs. Wormwood/The Acrobat in “Matilda, the Musical”.
For her first professional show, she was part of the Original Mexico cast of “Les Miserables’ (fully produced by Cameron Mackintosh, which ran for over 200 performances), at only six years old.
She attended American Heritage Center for the Arts in South Florida on a full Theater Performance scholarship, as well as Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She, then, moved to NYC, where she trained with incredible mentors such as Neal Harrelson and various New York casting directors that made a massive impact in her career.
After that, she went to live at sea for two years to perform live on stage as a leading vocalist for Disney Cruise Line “hanging out with” some of your favorite Disney Princesses and characters like Pocahontas, Princess Jasmine, Nala, Plumette from “Beauty and the Beast”, and many others! Most recently, she performed with Theater Under The Stars as part of their 2023 production of “Sweeney Todd, Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street”, as well as their 2024 production of Disney’s “Frozen, the Musical”, both directed by Dan Knechtges.
She teaches vocal performance and Musical Theatre audition Masterclasses in Houston, where she lives with her wonderful husband (who is also a performer and incredible dancer and choreographer), their family, their five cats, and their beautiful baby girl, Xanat.
