Austin Brill is a guitarist in The Woodlands, Texas. He started playing guitar when he was 14, and began pursuing a career in music while studying with James Hunley in 2016. It was through his mentorship with James that he was accepted into the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2017 where he studied with David Tannenbaum. During his time at the conservatory Austin has performed in solo recitals as well as several performances with the San Francisco Conservatory guitar ensemble.
He has participated in masterclasses with renowned guitarists Celine Romero and Ana Vidovic. He was also one of three opening performers for Ana Vidovic in 2017, and Pepe Romaro 2018. Since this time Austin has continued playing in local restaurants, while mainly focusing on his teaching. As a guitarist, Austin’s hope is to pass on the knowledge he is gaining, and to bring people together while helping them to achieve their goals in music.
