For students with at least some musical theater experience, this class will cover vocal technique, ensemble acting, movement, and audition preparation.

No matter how talented you are, you can’t get the part until you pass the audition. Knowing the ins and outs of the audition process and learning how to be prepared for an audition can greatly improve your chances of success. In this course, students will learn how to select and prepare 16-32 bar audition cuts from a song, and how to select and perform a monologue or scene. The class will also cover singing and acting warm-ups and conduct mock auditions.
