About Melanie Wright
Melanie Wright’s versatile singing has led her to many opportunities in Musical Theatre, Opera, and Commercial Music. Whether performing Classical or Contemporary music, she strives to captivate audiences with her warm lyric soprano voice and her imaginative style. Melanie obtained her B.A. in Vocal Performance from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is a recent graduate from Carthage College, acquiring her M.M. in Music Theatre Vocal Pedagogy.
Melanie Wright specializes in teaching Music Theatre and Contemporary voice. As an educator beginning in 2020, Melanie provides students with safety and encouragement in her studio. She has a passion for teaching and advocates for life-long learning. Melanie Wright has been awarded with first place in the state of Indiana 2022 NATS Music Theatre competition. She went on to be a semi-finalist in the nationwide NATS competition.
