Performance Opportunities

GET STARTED

We offer our students many performing opportunities, including our twice yearly Recitals and our Student Showcase Concert. We also actively facilitate our students’ participation in outside performances and competitions, such as the Society of American Musicians competition, the National Association of Teachers of Singing Competitions, along with several area youth theater programs and local high school variety shows.

Spring 2026 Student Performances

Spring Student Showcase Concert

Our Spring Student Showcase Concert is scheduled for May 17th at Double Clutch Brewing in Evanston, IL. This program is an opportunity for our students to perform their favorite pop/rock/jazz, etc. songs, accompanied by other students and/or faculty members. These shows are put together with only one rehearsal the day of the performance, so they are best suited for our intermediate to advanced students. There is a fee to participate in this program.

Spring Recitals

Our Spring Recitals are scheduled for May 30th and 31st at St. James the Less Episcopal Church in Northfield.

These are our “traditional” recitals, which focus on solo performances. We also encourage small ensembles such as string trios and quartets, or classical guitar ensembles, to participate.
