About Salane Schultz
Salane has 20 years of experience as a piano instructor, pianist, accordionist, composer, and performer. Salane began studying classical piano at age 7, proceeding to Baldwin Wallace College, where she gained a broad theatre and musical background. She studied the accordion with life time member of the San Francisco Accordion Club, Lou Jacklich. She has performed all over the San Francisco Bay Area, including Cotati Accordion Festival, the Winchester Mystery House, Alameda County Fair, Oktoberfest, Piedmont Avenue Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Rockridge Halloween Parade, the Starry Plough, Ashkenaz, and Bottom Of the Hill, to name a few. She has also played in a variety of live bands including a Tom Waits cover band, Cheshire Rock Opera, and Rock Lotto. Salane hosts a weekly live virtual variety show, as well as starring in her own youtube channel just for kids as Salane loves working with children. It is her mission to make learning fun for all ages focusing on skills to read music, music theory, improvisation, composition and performance.
