About Katherine Calvey
Katherine Calvey is delighted to return to her hometown of Cleveland, OH after serving as the principal flutist of The Camerata de Coahuila in Mexico. As an orchestral flutist/piccoloist, concerto soloist, recitalist, college music professor, and recording artist; Ms. Calvey’s musical career has allowed her to perform professionally in 20 countries and win numerous national music competitions.
Ms. Calvey has taught in four continents. Many of her students have become professional musicians themselves, while others enjoy playing music as a hobby. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Peabody – Johns Hopkins; a Masters of Music Degree from The University of Michigan (where she studied as a full talent scholarship student) and completed musical studies at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music. .

MUSIC COACH: Levels – professional, college, advanced.- Chamber music, auditions (tryouts), presenters, musical groups/ bands. (Music coaching involves guiding musicians in musicality, stage presence, musical charisma, intonation, ensemble, etc, without actually training the techniques of a particular instrument).
MUSIC THEORY: Levels – beginner, intermediate (advanced).
PIANO TEACHER: Levels – beginner.
