About Jack Kehrli
Jack is an accomplished violinist based in the Cleveland area, having performed regularly with several regional orchestras. He holds a tenured position in the Akron Symphony as Assistant Principal and has served as a substitute member with The Cleveland Orchestra on numerous occasions. He received his Bachelors at The Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as a professional studies certificate, where he served as the principal violist of the Orchestra. He previously attended Kent Blossom Music Festival where he served as principal violist of the festival orchestra. Jack has been praised by his previous instructors and peers for his ability to identify the specific problems inhibiting a students’ ability to perform, and provide solutions that help resolve the issue. He believes in an individualized approach for each student, providing feedback that not only helps to address the immediate issues a student faces, but also long term tools that the student can use to explore and address problems on their own.
