About David Shaffer
David Shaffer earned his BFA and MFA at California Institute of the Arts where he studied percussion and many Non-Western music systems including the Ewe Music of Ghana, North and South Indian Music, and Indonesian Gamelan.
David has also performed and recorded drum set with jazz and rock ensembles, including Wadada Leo Smith, Trichy Sankaran, Miroslav Tadic, Nels and Alex Cline, The Big Apple Circus, FEEL, Brian Haas and Joey McIntyre, among others.
