We have over 21 music teachers, all with either university or college training. Your musical goals are important to our music teachers. They are committed to having you achieve your goals by learning about your personal musical interests. If you have a specific song you want to learn, our Lakewood Music Academy teachers will help you. With at least three music teachers for every instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, make playing fun, and are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your music lessons.

Miss a class? No worries…you can take a 45 minute Saturday Group Makeup Class. They are available throughout the year. If you can’t fit it in right away, they don’t expire so that you can plan it when it fits your schedule. You can even do a Saturday Group Makeup Class before you miss!

Lessons are available for your convenience online using the zoom platform. Live far away but want to take advantage of our great teachers – do your lessons online! If you are on vacation you don’t have to miss a lesson. Have the sniffles, don’t want to expose anyone but feel good enough to have your lesson – do it from home!

We are the only music school in Lakewood that offers music lessons seven days a week from 9am-9pm weekdays, 10-3 Saturday and 12-5 Sunday to accommodate your busy schedule.

Every year, aspiring music teachers start their own studio, and a year or two later it’s closed. Our full time mission is teaching music lessons trusted by over 3000 families for over 15 years.

Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital. In June and December many of our students choose to perform in our Spring and Holiday recitals. For our students these recitals are free and unlike many schools in Lakewood we do not charge recital participation or admission fees.

Your safety and security are important. So we have 14 security cameras (with audio) in our lobby and lesson rooms to provide a safe environment for our students. Observation windows are on every lesson room and you can observe your child’s lesson through the window or on the monitor in the reception area.

We are the only music school in Lakewood that offers a picture day for their students. Every April and Novermber we host a free picture day with a professional photographer. This is a service that our student’s parents love as they all want quality photos of their children. Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot and wear whatever they like.

The School does not require large semester payments for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only want students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long term contract. Any lesson can also be done online as well in our studios.

We provide the most spacious and parent friendly waiting area in the area. Instead of waiting in a music retail store showroom, or a cramped hallway, our clients enjoy a spacious, professional area with comfortable chairs, kids coloring station, and free wifi. We also have observation windows for every room so that you can watch your child’s lesson while you wait. Or if you prefer, you can watch from our the monitor in the reception area. Or sit in on the lessons at anytime.

We strive to bring you the best customer service possible. We are continually adding hours to ensure that our desk staff is able to assist you when you call or come to the studio! Most music lesson providers do not provide front desk staff, but we have full time desk staff who are available at the front desk to assist you during ALL lessons, quickly and professionally. Excellent customer service is what sets us apart!

Since we provide the widest range of times, we are able to be a ‘full service’ music school. This allows us to offer lessons as early as 9 a.m. and we see many students between the hours of 11 a.m.-2 p.m. If you are a homeschool parent, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunch time lesson spots.

Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for lessons,including amps, full drum kits with pads, keyboards, pianos, and more. We have spent thousands of dollars on our studio for everything you need for music lessons!
