Our Story
Lakewood Music Academy began in 2004 as a home based business giving lessons and doing repairs and was known as Marrell Instrument Repair. 2008 was the time to move to a store front with 2 lessons rooms and then in 2010 adding 3 more rooms when we acquired the storefront next door.
2016 brought a new era to the store, a name change and focus on creating a more prestigious look by offering a variety of lesson options, Music FunTime pre-school classes, teachers , workshops, Musical Ladder System of awards, and performing experiences that define it us as Lakewood Music Academy
We’ve also found that Kids love watching their parents play an instrument. When you share music, it bonds families.
