Music Explorers fosters children’s social and emotional growth through whimsical songs and playful exploration

Music Explorers is a unique Early Childhood Music program that focuses on the whole child, laying the foundations not only musically, but mentally, emotionally, and physically. Based on the National Standards for Music Education, Music Explorers provides students with an opportunity to develop beginning music skills all while encouraging a child’s confidence and self-expression.

We will have 2 separate weekly sessions:

Mondays starting February 3rd from 1:30 – 2:30 PM.
Wednesdays starting February 5th from 1:30 – 2:30 PM.
[NEW] Sundays at 4:00-5:00 PM.

A child’s first experience in music is one of their most important. Take an adventure with us!

This pre-lesson program (for ages 3-5) explores the world of music and BEYOND through the eyes of the young child!

Our goal in Music Explorers is to help set the musical foundations for our young students while at the same time nurturing their social, emotional, and physical development. These explorers will learn musical concepts such as steady beat, tone matching, listening skills, coordination, and musical vocabulary, while learning to sing and play classroom instruments with their peers!

Each unit builds these new concepts while also exploring a different element of the world around them:
Unit 1 – Only One Me!
Unit 2 – Space Explorers
Unit 3 – Here in the Ocean
Unit 4 – Welcome to the Dinosaur Orchestra!

Our young Music Explorers will learn to sing and play instruments to prepare them for music lessons to come. When an explorer has completed all 4 units, they can begin regular 1-on-1 music lessons with one of our experienced teachers!

How long will the class run?

Classes are approximately 45 minutes long each. Parents are not required to stay but are always welcome to observe.

How much will it cost?

$200 per child for the entire 8 week course.

What will be covered in the class?

Musical concepts such as steady beat, tone matching, listening skills, coordination, musical vocabulary, singing and playing classroom instruments are all taught by a music education professional.
