About Ryan Buell
Ryan Buell has been a teacher for over 20 years, and currently teaches Guitar, Bass, and Ukelele. Ryan holds a B.M. from Shenandoah Conservatory in Jazz Performance, but excels in teaching all manner of music, from contemporary pop to metal to folk to classical. Ryan’s pedagogic philosophy is based in two tenants: A strong foundation of Ear Training and Fundamental Technique, and Individualized Repertoire Selection. In layman’s terms, Ryan intends to teach every lesson with a focus on each student’s musical goals while ensuring the instrument is played in the easiest way possible.
