About Sarah Olsen
From a very young age, Sarah Olsen has had an interest in music. According to the archeologists of her childhood, her parents, she whistled at age 1 and sang her own version of opera babble at age 4, and she’s kept singing all the way up. She began her formal studies in high school and expanded her passion for singing into performing in shows, choirs and competitions. Sarah studied Music with an emphasis on Vocal Performance at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign under the incredible Dr. Ollie Watts Davis where she performed in Operas, Operettas, Recitals and Choirs. She has gone on to have been blessed enough to be teaching students of her own for the last 12 years in voice and beginning to intermediate piano. Sarah’s goal in her studio is to motivate students of all levels and ages to achieve their own potential for creating beautiful music, in order to meet their own goals and needs, while building a foundation for continued growth. With an emphasis on assisting students while creating a solid foundation to build their musical confidence. All while having fun!
