About Larry Harris
Larry Harris has been studying and learning about the art of piano for over 45 years! He studied at both DePaul University and University of Kentucky with an emphasis on jazz piano. He has been performing around the midwestern jazz scene for many years, both as a soloist and in jazz combos. Students who come to their 9am lessons early on Saturday mornings can sometimes be treated to a mini-concert from his studio of whatever standard or song he feels like playing. We are fortunate to have such a talented player and performer teach for Hix Brothers!
