About Imperial School of Music
Imperial School of Music has partnered with Hix Brothers Music School to continue our 60-year tradition of high-quality music education in Geneva, IL. We are excited to provide our students and teachers with a state-of-the-art studio space and look forward to expanding our music community by combining forces with the talented educators at Hix Brothers, formerly located just up the road in Batavia.
Imperial School Of Music is the longest running music-instruction business in the Fox Valley tri-cities. The school was established 1953, and in 1989, Imperial School of Music’s owner, Maureen Christine-Bazan, continued the musical traditions established by Herb Granquist.
In March of 2005, Imperial School Of Music opened its doors in a new location, 521 Hamilton Street, located in the historic district of downtown Geneva. The 2,700 square foot building offered numerous teaching studios, a vast library of sheet music, and one of the largest selections of woodwind reeds and accessories.
Today, Imperial Music School continues to provide the highest quality lessons in partnership with Hix Brothers Music School at our new location 415 Williamsburg Ave, Geneva, IL 60134. Contact us to learn more!
