About MASON BONNER
Mason Bonner is a multi instrumentalist who started his musical journey when he was 10 years old. He went on to receive his associates degree in music with a concentration in percussion from Copiah Lincoln Community College. He then received his bachelors degree in Music Performance (percussion) from USM, where he gained years of invaluable experience playing rudimental percussion, various Latin styles, steel band, jazz combos, orchestra, and various wind bands. Mason has brought his expertise to several other schools, ranging from middle school to the junior college level. in addition to being an educator, Mason is a seasoned gigging musician; currently gigging solely with his Blues-Rock band, The Midnight Shepherds, who you can listen to on all streaming platforms, and find them playing live every weekend on the Gulf Coast, anywhere between Louisiana and Florida.
