About BETH PARKER
With a career spanning continents and classrooms, Beth Parker brings over four decades of music education and performance experience to Groove House. She spent 22 years in Brazil as a missionary with the International Mission Board, serving as a music professor, choral director, church pianist, and coordinator for Music & Worship across Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Fluent in Portuguese, Beth notated and recorded traditional Brazilian music, uplifting local musicians and preserving cultural heritage. Her work also included producing and recording professional accompaniment tracks using instruments such as upright bass and others.
Back in Mississippi, Beth has taught at William Carey University, Poplarville Upper Elementary, Petal High School, and Laurel Christian High School, and has maintained a thriving private piano studio. With deep roots in both international and local music communities, Beth is passionate about helping students of all ages grow, create, and find their groove.
