About Sam
Sam began to play the piano when he was only three. When Sam was seven, he started his formal training as a vocalist. He enjoys singing and playing a variety of genres including classical, jazz, and country, while simultaneously crafting original songs. Along the way, Sam has performed at notable venues including Citi Field, Madison Square Garden, Nassau Coliseum, and for several charity events. Sam believes that through compassion, empathy, hard-work, and a safe artistic environment, anything is possible for the aspiring musician or student to achieve.
During his years as an undergraduate student at Hofstra, Sam participated in multiple choirs, chamber ensembles, classical duets, and was the lead singer for the Big Band. Sam received his undergraduate degree in vocal performance from Hofstra University, and he received his Master’s of Music in Voice from The Mannes School of Music. During his time at both universities, Sam coached and tutored his fellow peers in voice, piano, and music theory. Sam has also tutored children with special needs in math, science, and various other academic subjects, and catered to each student’s individual needs. Going forward, Sam plans to continue to work towards his dream goal of becoming a successful performer, songwriter, and music teacher.
