About Napoleon Cummings
Napoleon, one of ten children hails from Staten Island, NY where his mother filled their home with an eclectic array of music, “My mother did not discriminate when it came to music, If it was good music, it was played.” He discovered his voice in church and honed his musical talents there and at school where he played in the marching and jazz bands. After high school Napoleon migrated down south to attend University where he studied music education before getting the call to tour earning his professional chops on the road as a member of Naturally 7, touring and performing with Michael Bublé, Quincy Jones, Ludacris, Herbie Hancock, Justin Bieber, Kelly Rowland, and many more touring from 2010-2017. Napoleon also boasts of tv experience, appearing in his first music video for Quincy Jones’ “Soul Bossa Nostra”. And On “Star King” (Korea’s #1 hit show) performing the solo “if I ain’t got you”. He appeared in his first commercial in a 2016 Honey Nut Cheerios campaign. And his music compositions have earned musical placement on the tv series “Cherish the Day” a series on Oprah network 2022. He brings touring experience, production, stage presence, awareness and confidence to performing, and teaching. Napoleon’s primary areas of teaching are: Piano, Vocal, Drums, Music production and Composition.
