About Max Herzlich
Percussionist Dr. Max Herzlich has performed with the Longwood Symphony, Chelsea Symphony Orchestra, Brookline Symphony, Chappaqua Orchestra, Long Island Festival Orchestra, and Boston Opera Collaborative. He has also played in collaboration with Talujon Percussion and as a member of Iktus Percussion Quartet. Born and raised on Long Island, Max received his Bachelor’s degree in Percussion from SUNY Purchase College as well as his Performer’s Certificate. Max earned his Doctorate of Musical Arts from Boston University in May of 2021. While teaching at Grace Music and being a freelance performer, he also teaches Percussion classes for the Harmony Program in New York City.
