About Logan Slansky
Logan Slansky is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer, and educator in the Long Island/New York City area. After receiving his Honors Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Delaware in May of 2024, where he graduated summa cum laude, he is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Jazz Performance (Piano) from the Steinhardt School at New York University, where he is an Adjunct Instructor for Jazz/Pop Piano. Logan studied classical piano under the acclaimed Marie-Christine Delbeau while developing his improvisatory skills with Professor Tom Palmer and Dr. Miles Brown.
He additionally studied Classical and Contemporary Percussion with Dr. Gene Koshinski and Dr. Tim Broscious. He has performed at the WASBE International Conference in Prague, Czechia and he recently took the stage at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy.
Logan’s approach to teaching encourages the development of a personal connection to music that is well-supported by technique and a trained ear. In addition to being K-12 Certified in Music Education, Logan has experience teaching from preschool through adulthood.
