About Julia Wachsmuth
Julia Wachsmuth is currently studying to be a chorus teacher at Hofstra University with a Music Education major. Voice is her main instrument and her secondary instruments are violin and piano. She has performed in NYSSMA festivals for both voice and violin solos along with SCMEA and NYSCAME choirs. Currently, she is in an a Capella group since 2020 and has studied jazz music and performed solos. She take voice lessons at Hofstra and performs in the end of year concerts. I’ve collaborated with Massapequa Philharmonic as a member of the eVoco Treble Ensemble at the Tilles Centre, LIU Post. At Hofstra, she auditioned for and is now in the choir and has been in various classical choir ensembles since 2016. She was in MYO (Metropolitan Youth Orchestra), for two years and was lucky to have the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall as well as The Staller Center at Stony Brook University. Here at Grace Music School, she teaches private voice lessons and beginner piano and violin lessons.
