About Jonathan Schwartz
Jonathan Schwartz has studied with world renowned artists Phillip Kawin at the Manhattan School of Music and David Dubal from the Juilliard School. Jonathan has performed solo and chamber music at diverse music festivals around the world. His travels as a pianist have took him to many interesting beautiful places such as Italy, Russia, China and Luxembourg. Jonathan was a finalist in The World Piano Pedagogy Most Wanted piano competition in Phoenix, Arizona as well a the Five Towns College Piano Competition on Long Island.
He has performed at many different concert venues that have ranged from Steinway Hall to the Juilliard School and the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. Jonathan enjoys chamber music and is keen on collaborating with different musicians. He has also recorded his first CD in a studio setting which included a broad range of composers and styles from Mozart to Gershwin and Khachaturian. He loves the works of Alexander Scriabin and has performed at the Scriabin Society of America’s events. Jonathan other interests includes aviation and holds a pilot’s license.
