About Jennie Damiano
Voice and piano instructor, Jennie Damiano, has been singing and performing since childhood and graduated from LIU Post in 2016 with a Bachelors in Music. As a member of the Post Chorus, Chamber Singers, Long Island Sound Vocal Jazz, and Madrigal Singers, she was given many opportunities to perform on and off campus at venues including the Tilles Center, Carnegie Hall, and the 50th Montreaux Jazz Festival. Jennie continues to perform with the Belle Voci Intergenerational Choir and the Long Island Sound Vocal Jazz (alumni performances). Upon graduating, Jennie worked in a few different fields including teaching private lessons, assistant teaching in a special needs school, in-home caregiving, and working as a behavior technician in ABA clinics in Colorado. Whatever environment she found herself in, Jennie always managed to bring the music with her.
When it comes to Jennie’s teaching philosophy, she strongly believes that everyone is capable of learning in their own way.
