
About Jay Lee
Jay Lee is a music teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. With a passion for music education and a commitment to fostering the next generation of musicians, Jay has established himself as a trusted and respected teacher in the community.
Jay earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music, where he majored in Professional Music(Jazz Piano concentrate). Also, he earned his Master of Music degree from Queens College(CUNY), where he majored in Jazz Composition and Arranging. Also, he has strong foundation of classical piano.
Jay has taught at several music schools over the course of his career in Boston and New York. Jay believes that music education should be a holistic experience that not only teaches students how to play piano, but also fosters creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong love of music. He emphasizes the importance of developing a strong foundation in music theory and technique, while also encouraging students to explore their own musical interests and passions.
In addition to his work as a music teacher, Jay is an active member of the his own Trio. Also, Jay is a Church Youth Orchestra director and conductor. He regularly performs during to year.
