About Emily Jasmine Ramonetti
Emily Jasmine has been composing music since the age of nine and has studied composition with Dr. Frank Doyle, Dr. Evis Sammoutis, and Dr. Jorge Grossmann. She has also studied film scoring with Tim Huling, Ben Newhouse and Sean McMahon.
Emily Jasmine received her Bachelor’s in Music Composition from Ithaca College in 2021 and her Master’s in Film Scoring from Berklee Online in 2023.
Emily Jasmine is a songwriter and regularly writes tunes in various styles, including pop ballad, dance tune and musical theater number. She takes influence from various traditions that she was exposed to as a child including western art music, jazz, folk music, pop/rock, alternative and musical theater.
In addition to being a composer, Emily Jasmine is a pianist and violinist. She has been playing piano and violin since the ages of three and seven respectively. Emily Jasmine has studied piano performance extensively with Rosa Antonelli, Gena Raps, Vadim Serebryany, Frank Doyle and Scott Ballin.
Emily Jasmine was a winner of the Gold Prize and Distinguished Creativity Special Award at the World Grand Prix International Music Contest, Distinguished Creativity Special Award Winner in spring 2024.
