About Andrea Niane Ettestoel
Hailing all the way from Norway, Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance as well as a Master’s in songwriting from NYU. She has over 17 years of performance and songwriting experience from folk-pop trio Ask to her own artist project. In addition to a focus on original music, Andrea has recently worked as a cruise ship singer where she performed a wide variety of contemporary genres from Disco to Country to 80’s rock.
Andrea has experience teaching voice, songwriting and beginner piano to all ages including small groups and full choirs. She uses the piano as a tool to compose, accompany and teach music theory and she views voice as her main instrument. She loves to see her students tap into their potential and use their creativity freely as well as develop tools to hone their craft.
