About Olivia
Recognized for her strong musicianship and an expressive stage presence, Olivia is an emerging lyric soprano with musical interests spanning from opera and art song, to choral music and musical theatre. She feels at home both on and off the stage, with experience as both a seasoned performer and voice and piano teacher.
Olivia recently earned her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from California State University, Fullerton’s School of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Joni Prado. Some previous opera roles include 1st Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Miss Wordsworth (Albert Herring), Rima in the West Coast premiere of Elizabeth Greene’s Hajar, 2nd Lady (Die Zauberflöte), and covering Noémie in Massenet’s Cendrillon. As a chorister, Olivia has regularly appeared in major works with Pacific Chorale and Pacific Symphony since 2024, most recently Ravel’s “Daphnis et Chloé”. Olivia has also attended training programs such as Bach-Millenium Music, Miami Music Festival, and Opera Seme.
As a teacher, Olivia works with various ages and abilities (Beginner through Advanced, ages 4 and up), including those with learning and cognitive differences. She incorporates light movement in her lessons due to her strong dance, pilates, and yoga background. While classical music is her specialty, her students have delved into pop and musical theatre repertoire as well. She uses a gentle approach and caters to each student’s needs, emphasizing proper technique and knowledge of music theory while keeping lessons fun and engaging.
A native of Redwood City, CA, Olivia is currently based in Southern California. When she is not performing or teaching, you’ll find her at various music events, binging a TV show, or baking. She also considers herself a Disney adult since she lives 10 minutes away from Disneyland and has been there over 20 times in her life.
