About Linette
Linette is a professional solo vocalist and voice instructor with decades of singing, performing, and teaching experience. She studied as a music major in voice and piano at Universidad Adventista de las Antillas and continued her musical training through coursework at La Sierra University and Los Angeles Valley College, where she studied voice, piano, music theory, and conducting. Throughout her musical training, she received music scholarships in recognition of her vocal ability.
Linette enjoys teaching singers of all ages and experience levels—from young beginners discovering their voices to teens and adults preparing for performances, auditions, recitals, worship teams, or simply singing for the joy of it. She believes every student has a unique voice and is passionate about helping each person develop it with confidence and healthy technique.
Her teaching combines a strong classical vocal foundation with practical application to today’s music. Students receive individualized instruction in healthy breath support, vocal freedom, resonance, tone, range development, pitch accuracy, musicianship, diction, performance skills, and expressive singing. Whether students enjoy pop, musical theatre, contemporary Christian, gospel, or classical music, Linette tailors each lesson to their goals, interests, and learning style.
As an active performer, Linette understands the excitement and challenges of singing before an audience. She brings that real-world perspective into every lesson, helping students not only build excellent vocal technique but also communicate with confidence and authenticity.
Known for her warm, encouraging teaching style, Linette creates a positive environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. Whether a student hopes to perform on stage, prepare for auditions, lead worship, or simply become a stronger, more confident singer, her goal is to help every student discover the joy of singing and reach their fullest potential.
