About ELLA
Music has the power to foster personal growth and transformation. For Ella, who was once a shy child, music became her primary means of self-expression. She found it far easier to convey her thoughts and feelings through singing rather than speaking in front of others. Through her musical journey, Ella has developed the ability to express her emotions more clearly, collaborate and communicate effectively with others, and gain a deeper understanding of people.
Ella was born and raised in Incheon, South Korea. Her musical journey began at the age of 5 when she first learned to play the piano, and by 2nd grade, she had joined a children’s choir. This early exposure to choral music ignited her passion for singing and fostered a strong desire to pursue a career as a singer. As she entered her teenage years, Ella attended a high school of the arts to further develop her talents. In 2017, she relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio, to pursue graduate studies. There, she earned her Master’s Degree in Voice from the University of Cincinnati and became a member of the American Guild of Musical Arts.
Ella’s favorite music genres are Opera and Musical Theatre, which she finds captivating due to their blend of powerful music, compelling narratives, and remarkable performances. Her passion for Musical Theatre allows her to explore and embody diverse characters on stage, enhancing her self-expression. Ella describes herself as calm and observant, qualities that enable her to analyze people and situations effectively. This keen insight helps her adapt to various environments, a valuable asset in teaching. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks, watching movies, and visiting coffee shops.
