About ANDREW

Andrew was born and raised in Korea, where his musical journey began at a remarkably young age. Influenced by his mother, a dedicated piano teacher, Andrew was introduced to the piano when he was just four years old. Her expert guidance and encouragement laid the foundation for his profound and enduring passion for music. As he grew older, Andrew pursued his undergraduate studies at Motown University in Korea, where he further developed his musical skills and knowledge. After completing his degree, he relocated to the United States to advance his education. At the University of Cincinnati, he earned his Master’s Degree, expanding his expertise and deepening his understanding of music. Andrew’s transition from his early beginnings in Korea to his advanced studies in the U.S. reflects a committed and evolving journey, marked by a lifelong dedication to his craft and an unyielding passion for music.

Andrew’s favorite genre is classical music, which he finds deeply thought-provoking. He feels that classical music invites listeners to search for hidden meanings, offering a rich tapestry of intricacies to explore. For instance, when he listens to Beethoven’s compositions, he delights in recognizing elements reminiscent of Bach or uncovering innovative techniques used by Mozart. This process of discovering musical nuances brings him immense joy. Outside of music, Andrew enjoys watching drama TV shows and has a unique background as a tank driver during his service in the Korean military.
